TECH COAST LIFE SCIENCE INNOVATION CONFERENCE CHOOSES FALLBROOK ENGINEERING FOR PANEL
Valley Center, CA - September 13, 2001 - Fallbrook Engineering will participate in the Tech Coast Life Science Innovation Conference scheduled for November 13, 2001 at the National Academies of Science and Engineering located at the Beckman Conference Center, UC Irvine.
Richard Meyst, vice president of Fallbrook Engineering and CEO of start-up Cord Cell TechnologiesTM will be part of the "Winning Strategies" panel discussing practical examples and tactics for commercialization. Meyst added "The LSIC is important because over $700 million funding is available; combining these funds with sound advice can springboard an entrepreneur towards a successful commercial venture."

Cord Cell TechnologiesTM is commercializing a patented device used for stem cell collection. Fallbrook Engineering developed the device using funds from an SBIR Phase I grant and has applied for a Phase 2 grant to continue the effort.
