FALLBROOK ENGINEERING CHOSEN FOR

TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS AT MEDCON 2004

 

 

Valley Center, CA – April 12, 2004 - Fallbrook Engineering announces its participation in the Medcon, Conference for the Design and Manufacturing of Medical and Biotech Devices scheduled for

April 28th & 29th, 2004 at Del Mar Fairgrounds Activity Center.

 

Richard Meyst, President/CEO will present “NIH Grant $ for Your Med Device/Biotechnology Project”. 

His focus will be how to provide non-equity money sources to fund your Medical Device Biotechnology project.  NIH, SBIR/STTR programs have been called the “largest biomedical seed fund in the world”.  You will hear about recently announced NIH Funding Opportunities and get tips on how to successfully compete and get these grants.

 

William Metzger, a Fallbrook Engineering Senior Associate with over 30 years of experience commercializing medical devices and seven patents for medical products during his career, is also on the schedule to present “Strategic Alliances for Emerging Companies”.   This presentation will identify different types of alliances which may be formed and the 5 strategic integration success features which must be examined at each phase of a company’s growth before entering into a working agreement.
